There is no plastic on the hardware. There are moderate scratches throughout to the exposed hardware. The lock hardware has light scratches throughout. The exterior leather has some minor rubbing/scuffing to the bottom corners. The interior leather has noticeable signs of wear with some scratches to the pocket on the front wall and to the zip pocket on the rear wall.
