The pillow is first immersed in a dye bath, each edge of it is then soaked in a different colored dye for the pigments to infuse the pillow progressively

The "H" detail is created by applying a wooden H, carved by hand and affixed to the pillow before it is soaked in the dye baths to avoid infusing the material
