Strap can be adjusted. Strap is seatbelt like. Longest drop (see picture #10) at 21inches. Shortest drop (see picture #9) at 12 inches. This is like a baguette bag to me. Because the strap is detachable, I can always change out the strap to something else to make it an elegant bag for a night out instead of this more everyday looking strap.
