Sweetest Anya Hindmarch London tiny black kitten vintage mini bag. I fell in love with this bag and bought her from the Anya Hindmarch store on Pont Street (London) in the late 1990s. I used her several times as a cocktail bag (black dress/black cat); she also had a Royal Ascot outing and several weddings. This is the really rare mini size, not the larger tote -- so makes it great for a special occasion bag, you can put her on the table or in your lap and she still holds your phone, lippy and compact. It closes with a snap at the top. The front and back are the same sweet black kitten print against a predominately hot fuchsia pink background with pale purplish undertones. The Anya Hindmarch bow is printed on one side, with "London" and "Anya Hindmarch" and the tiny faint A and H inside the bow. The super-clean inside compartment is lined in black canvas and has the AH label and a small slip pocket for your credit card or taxi fare. "Made in Italy" tag inside. The kitten photos "fades" towards the left top edge into a darker pink/violet, this is not staining, but part of the photograph/design. The sides and handles are a solid darker satin hot fuchsia pink (see photos, bottom and both sides). There is a very slight smudge to the right of the AH bow, only seen close up and in bright sunlight (last photo close up). The bag measures: 14 cm across, 18 cm high, 5.5 cm deep. The handle drops 11 cm from the top of the handle to the top of the bag. Special and unique. I know Anya Hindmarch is now a major global brand, but this bag hails from her much earlier, exclusive days. Excellent condition, I've taken very good care of this kitty, but she hasn't had an outing in years.
