Vintage Balenciaga Giant Brogues Day Chestnut Brown Leather Shoulder Bag Vintage Balenciaga Giant Brogues Day shoulder bag from the Nicolas Ghesquière era, crafted from distressed chestnut brown leather with signature Giant covered hardware and brogue detailing. The warm chestnut brown leather has developed a beautiful natural patina over time, enhancing the character of this iconic vintage design. Approximate measurements: • Width: 38 cm • Height: 39 cm • Depth: 12 cm • Shoulder drop: approximately 22–23 cm Condition Good vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina developed over time. The distressed leather remains soft, supple and retains its characteristic Balenciaga texture and sheen. The bag has developed an attractive, even patina consistent with careful use and age. Silver-tone hardware is in good condition, with light surface wear commensurate with use. All zips run smoothly and the bag retains its original braided shoulder strap, Giant hardware and brogue detailing. Corners remain well preserved with no significant rubbing, holes or structural damage. The interior is clean and in good condition, showing only light signs of use. The base is in good condition with normal light wear from being placed down. Points to note There are a few darker marks on the back lower section of the bag (shown in the photographs). The leather shows natural creasing, variations in colour and gentle surface wear throughout, which are typical of Balenciaga's intentionally distressed leather and have developed further with age. There is light wear to the edges of some of the leather-covered Giant studs and buckle detailing. The braided shoulder handle shows light wear consistent with normal use but remains strong and secure. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
