Highly collectible 2001 Balenciaga Motorcycle "Weekender" bag in the legendary Eggplant (Aubergine / Violet) colorway. Perfect for a weekend away bag, diaper bag and a everyday use bag. A little background history behind the City/ weekender/motorcycle bag they were first designed in 2001 by Nicolas Ghesquière it didn't really gain much traction right away (When Ghesquière presented the slouchy, logo-less, and distressed leather bag to corporate executives, they flat-out refused to manufacture it.) It took a couple of yrs and then it became WILDLY famous as it started to be worn by celebrities such as Carine Roitfeld, Emmanuelle Alt, and Kate Moss. This bag is in PRISTINE CONDITION.
