Rare late-1990s Bottega Veneta mini Boston from the Moltedo era, before the 2001 Gucci Group acquisition. It shows the house's early, logo-forward identity: the silver-tone triangle "B" plaque, the BV monogram jacquard lining and the engraved lock hardware all predate the Tomas Maier "no logo" years. The body is leopard-print nylon, finished with black leather rolled top handles and black leather piping. A Bottega Veneta engraved lock-clasp hangs from the zip pull, a signature detail from this period. The bag has two exterior slip pockets on the sides and five protective metal feet on the base. Inside, there is a zip pocket with a Bottega Veneta metal plaque and the original leopard logo tag, plus the full BV monogram jacquard lining. The compact Boston shape carries the Y2K bowling-bag look that collectors want now. Leopard nylon from this era is becoming harder to find in structured shapes like this. Condition: Very good vintage condition. • Handles are supple, with no cracking. • The print is vibrant and the zips run smoothly. • There are light dark marks on the base, around the seam and feet. • The leather piping shows light wear and surface cracking at the base corners. • The lock and feet have light scratches and patina. • The lining has minor marks.
