Bottega Veneta Limited Edition Intrecciato Tote – Tomas Maier Capsule Collection Fall/Winter 2009 Rare Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Tote from the Tomas Maier era, produced in 2008 and presented in the Fall/Winter 2009 Capsule Collection, made in limited quantities. (You can find it in the Maison's runway archives) One of the most refined interpretations of the iconic Bottega Veneta Intrecciato, created with a complex manual weave of nappa leather in shades of cognac/orange and dark brown. In terms of size (43 × 31 × 22 cm), structure, internal organization, and capacity, it anticipates many of the features we find today in the Bottega Veneta Andiamo Large, despite belonging to a completely different collection. The current Andiamo Large is offered by the Maison for €7,200, confirming that this type of tote still represents the pinnacle of Bottega Veneta's leather goods today. The interior, fully lined in soft taupe suede, is organized into three large separate compartments and two internal pockets, a configuration that makes this bag elegant, practical, and surprisingly current. We note only a very small mark on the upper edge and very slight marks on the support parts, which are normal for a bag of this period and are clearly documented in the photographs and are imperceptible. No breakage in the weave, no structural defects, and no significant wear. The bag has been professionally sanitized. Included: original authenticity cards and a replacement dust bag (the original is no longer available).
