This vintage Celine tote is finely crafted of beige Macadam coated canvas printed with the maison's signature interlocking C monogram and finished with burgundy leather trim along the handles, piping and corner reinforcements. The Macadam print was first introduced by Celine in the 1970s as the maison's answer to the great French monograms, and has remained one of the house's defining vintage codes - accented here with silver-tone Triomphe-engraved metal feet at the base the base and rivets at the strap anchors. The bag opens to a dark brown twill fabric interior fitted with an interior zip pocket and slip pockets, with leather tabs heat-stamped "CELINE" and "CE-OO Made in Italy" indicating Italian production.
