Title: Vintage CELINE Box leather bag brown – Horsebit & Carriage Wheel Buckle – TO BE RESTORED Description: Selling authentic vintage Celine Paris handbag (70s/80s), in dark brown / very dark burgundy smooth Box leather. Iconic equestrian style of the house. Signature hardware: Large central gold buckle in the shape of a Horsebit and side buttons representing carriage wheels (highly sought after). Interior: Rigid structure with gussets with several compartments and original zippered pocket. CONDITION (Sold as is): Shoulder strap: The leather strap is completely broken/torn at the upper left attachment (see photos). It is also cracked along its length. A repair or a strap replacement at a cobbler is essential before you can wear the bag. Leather and Gilding: The body of the bag and the gold metal parts are in good general condition for their age, with normal signs of wear (small scratches and patina). Interior: A broken zipper: Just below the flap, a gold metal zipper is visible. The brown fabric bordering the teeth of the zipper is completely torn and frayed, which prevents the slider from working correctly. The rest is in good condition.
