The ivory/cream leather shows general age-related discolouration and unevenness of colour, together with scattered marks and staining throughout. There are several more noticeable brown/darker marks and spots, including areas visible on the exterior panels. The perforated leather also shows creasing, wrinkling, surface rubbing, scuffing and areas of wear, particularly around the sides, edges, corners and areas subject to handling. There is some loss of structure/softening to the body consistent with the age and construction of the bag. The bottom/base shows marks, discolouration and signs of use. The leather woven through the chain straps shows age-related discolouration, rubbing and wear. The silver-tone hardware may show surface scratches, rubbing, dulling and other signs of normal use. The green fabric interior is generally well preserved for its age but shows normal signs of previous use, including light marks, rubbing, creasing and possible minor discolouration. Due to the light colour of the leather and the age of the bag, additional small marks, spots, scratches, variations in colour, rubbing or signs of wear may be present that are difficult to capture individually in photographs.
