Authentic vintage Chanel vanity case in black grained caviar leather, with the famous quilted/topstitched double C on the front. Square format, dimensions 16 x 16 cm, height 8 cm. Simple smooth leather handle on top. **Hardware:** double-slider zip closure in gold-tone metal, adorned with two dangling CC charms. Note, as is clearly visible in the close-up photos, there is wear to the gold plating on the zip pulls (the silver/brass metal shows through in places under the gold patina) — this is a classic point of wear on vintage pieces from this era, but I prefer to point it out clearly. **Exterior leather:** textured caviar leather, rigid structure intact, no cracking or peeling of the leather. There is a slight natural shine/lustre on the corners and edges (visible in the side and bottom photos), indicating slight friction from normal use for a vintage item, without any cracks or loss of material. The bottom of the bag also shows this same slight lustre on the edges. **Interior:** black leather lining, good general condition, no smell or visible stains. Chanel "Made in Italy" label present and legible inside, with holographic serial sticker also present (number partially erased/rubbed over time, as seen in the close-ups — authenticity not questioned by the wear of the sticker). **Overall condition:** very good condition for a vintage piece, structure of the vanity is well-maintained, zipper is functional and smooth, no holes, no tears, no stains on the exterior leather.
