Dating from approximately the mid-1990s, this is a wonderful example of vintage Chanel. The bag has a structured silhouette with beautifully defined diamond quilting, a large envelope-style front pocket finished with the signature CC turn-lock, and contrasting leather-and-chain detailing. The design includes a spacious main compartment with top zip closure, exterior front pocket, leather and chain shoulder straps and the original CHANEL leather charm. **Chanel replacement strap** The shoulder strap was professionally replaced by **Chanel at Harrods in 2024**, giving the bag a beautifully refreshed strap while retaining the character and appeal of the original vintage piece. **Condition** Very good vintage condition, particularly considering the bag is approximately 30 years old. The black Caviar leather remains beautifully textured, the quilting retains excellent definition and the bag holds its shape extremely well. The vintage gold hardware remains bright and attractive, with age-related wear consistent with its age. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the condition description.
