Edges & base: The straight edges, the accordion side gussets, and the flat leather base are beautifully preserved; only fine, superficial vintage edge wear is visible on the lower edges and corners. Chain strap: The gold-plated link chain shines brightly and is color-intensive; the interwoven black leather strap is firm, clean, and securely anchored. Lining & underside of flap (important condition note): The burgundy smooth leather lining is dry, clean, and odor-free; fine, normal fingernail scratches and delicate shadings are visible on the black smooth leather inside of the flap and in the red main compartment; the large CC embroidery is flawless and firmly worked; the zipper compartment and the slip pocket are perfectly usable; the golden Chanel embossing is clear and radiantly legible.
