A particularly distinctive piece from Chanel's Cruise 2017 collection, this Boy bag was introduced as part of the house's landmark Havana presentation in Cuba. The show marked a significant moment for Chanel, becoming the first runway presentation by a major luxury fashion house in the country. The bag features the collection's multicoloured rainbow motif across softly quilted lambskin, with the palette deliberately softened into sun-washed, muted tones. Rather than being a recurring Chanel design, the print was created specifically for the Havana collection, giving the bag a much more limited and recognisable provenance than the house's classic quilted styles. The rainbow Boy was produced for retail in medium and large sizes, while the smaller mini version remained exclusive to the runway.
