Classic and timeless vintage CHANEL double flap bag, in lambskin leather with its Chanel box. This bag has a double chain, which allows it to be worn in two ways. It cannot be worn as a crossbody bag, and the chain and clasps are 24-karat gold-plated. Interior: burgundy leather, 2 large compartments, 3 small compartments, one zippered pocket, and an additional pocket behind the flap. Authenticity code: none, bag dating from the early 80s, made in France. Dimensions (inches): L 10.6 x H 7.5 x D 2.8 – shoulder chain drop: 9.8 (double) and 13.8 (single). Dimensions (cm): L 27 x H 19 x D 7 - shoulder chain drop: 25.0 (double) and 35.0 (single). The bag was painted, and most of the paint has been removed, but some remains on the sides and bottom. This has caused some cracking on the sides, and the leather has some stains in places. There are 2 leather repairs on the sides and some other general damage (see red circles), see photos. The interior is in good vintage condition. The chain shows slight discoloration and the CC clasp has a little play, but it works perfectly.
