This is one of Chanel's most sought-after vintage models; the Diana bag, produced between 1989 and 1995 and named after Princess Diana, who wore it frequently. It follows the lines of the Classic Flap but stands apart thanks to the smooth leather border framing the diamond quilting, a detail unique to this model. The clasp is Chanel's interlocking double-CC turn-lock, finished in 24-karat gold-plated hardware for a richer shine than later reissues. The interwoven leather and chain strap is long enough to wear crossbody as well as on the shoulder.
