CHANEL On The Pavements Graffiti Large Messenger Bag – Rare Collector Piece Description Rare CHANEL “On The Pavements” Graffiti Large Messenger Bag from the Karl Lagerfeld era. This is the highly collectible large messenger version, measuring approximately 42 cm wide × 28 cm high when laid flat. Crafted from intentionally distressed khaki canvas with multicoloured graffiti and spray-paint detailing, brown leather trim, signature fringed tweed detailing, oversized multicoloured interlocking CC logo, decorative badges and the iconic “VOTE COCO” graffiti. Features an adjustable canvas and leather shoulder/crossbody strap, ruthenium-tone hardware and burgundy interior. The distressed, faded and irregular appearance of the canvas is an intentional part of the original CHANEL design. Each bag from this collection has individual variations in its graffiti, colouring and distressed finish, making these pieces particularly collectible. CONDITION: Very good pre-owned condition and beautifully preserved. There is a small area of loose/broken stitching on the leather section of the adjustable shoulder strap. This is located on the inner side of the strap and is not noticeable when the bag is being worn. It has been photographed clearly for complete transparency. Otherwise, please refer to the photographs for the overall condition. The original CHANEL serial/ sticker is present inside the bag.
