Chanel 2019 Spring/Summer Sand by the Sea PVC, Lambskin & Pearl Handle Flap Bag – Karl Lagerfeld Collection A spectacular and highly collectible Chanel “Sand by the Sea” bag from the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, one of Karl Lagerfeld’s final collections for Chanel. This unusual design features a transparent double-wall PVC body containing real sand, contrasted with black lambskin trim and finished with gold-tone hardware. The bag features Chanel’s signature leather-interwoven chain strap together with a striking oversized imitation-pearl top handle and rope detailing. A particularly distinctive collector’s piece from the Lagerfeld era. Condition: Excellent Pre-Owned Condition The bag is in excellent overall condition and has been very well preserved. The transparent PVC remains beautifully presented. Due to the nature of the material, there may be very fine surface scratches, hairline marks or extremely light signs of handling/storage visible under certain lighting. The oversized pearl handle is in excellent condition, although the pearls may have extremely fine surface scratches or tiny marks consistent with gentle handling and storage. The black lambskin leather is very well preserved, with only minimal signs of handling. The gold-tone hardware remains bright and attractive and may show very fine hairline scratches consistent with careful use and storage. Overall, this is an exceptionally well-preserved example of this rare Chanel collector’s piece.
