Beautiful vintage Chanel chain Tote bag in black caviar leather with CC motif, dating from 1997-1999. Dimensions: 22 cm x 25.5 cm x 10 cm. Handle height: 18 cm. Black leather. Closure: Chanel zip (gold-tone). Made in Italy. One large compartment and side pockets. Barely used at the time. Stored in a closet for many years. The leather has some creases from long storage under various objects, which explains the slight irregularities visible on the bag. These imperfections can be corrected by replacing the inner cardboard. I asked in the Netherlands, the estimated cost of restoration is about €150. Please note: small signs of general use, general tone-on-tone recoloring, slight discoloration and micro-scratches on the hardware, patinated corners and edges. This is a second-hand/used item, the signs of wear it presents are normal. Good condition. Light scuffs and creases on the leather surface, especially on the front panel, with slight signs of use on the hardware. Vestiaire Collective told me it was re-dyed tone-on-tone but I don't know what they mean because when I sent it, it was ok. A long time ago, the bag was not used much and was then stored for a long time, over 20 years. The bag is a very beautiful vintage handbag.
