Chanel Maxi Jumbo XL – 24k Gold Hardware – Vintage Description: For sale is an iconic vintage Chanel Maxi Jumbo Single Flap from the years 1994-1996 (3-series). A rare collector's item from the "Golden Era" with genuine 24 karat gold plating. Highlights: • 24k Gold Hardware: The XL CC logo and the chain are plated with real gold (identifiable by the hallmark stamp). This luxury has not been available from Chanel since 2008. • Material: Black, quilted lambskin leather with a bordeaux red interior lining. • Format: Single Flap XL – offers significantly more space and is lighter than modern Double Flaps. Condition Report: • Hardware: Good shine. Important note: One of the small original screws is missing on the inside of the clasp (see photo). However, the lock closes perfectly. • Leather: Beautiful vintage condition. The corners show slight abrasion (see macro photos), the leather is supple overall. • Interior: Clean; the serial number sticker is present, but no longer fully legible due to age.
