Rare Chanel “Le Marais” Flap Bag in metallic aged gold/silver made of soft lambskin leather. Serial number: 11517073 (approx. 2007) Collector's item from the mid-2000s, embodying the perfect mix of classic Chanel chic and a rocky, edgy vibe. Model: Le Marais Flap Bag Material: Lambskin leather with the typical diamond quilting. Hardware: Ruthenium/Aged Silver with the iconic CC turnlock. Condition: 7.5 - 8/10 Important to understand: The bag is not worn out, the entire appearance of this model is designed from the factory with an “aged look”. The leather has an intentional, casual crinkle optic. Exterior: Good vintage condition with a lot of character. There is some abrasion on the metallic coating at the corners and flap edges, which however fits seamlessly into the edgy distressed look. Interior: The quilted satin lining shows normal, age-related signs of wear, but is clean and intact. The integrated zipper compartment is fully functional. Hardware & Strap: The ruthenium hardware has light surface scratches that are hardly noticeable due to the matte finish. The woven leather strap shows signs of use appropriate for its age.
