This iconic and very rare Chanel bag is a Classic Medium (measurements identical to the vintage Jumbo size) Double Flap, crafted from the popular vibrant dark red 13B lambskin (from the 17 series, 2012-2013) with the brand's signature diamond quilting and an exterior patch pocket on the back. The bag has a structured, rectangular silhouette with a main exterior flap on the front and an interior flap; the interior flap is secured with a snap button and the exterior flap is secured by the polished silver-tone metal CC turn-lock. There is a small zippered compartment inside the front flap and a slip pocket under the exterior flap on the front of the bag. A versatile chain strap, intertwined with red leather, allows for shoulder or crossbody wear. The interior is in matching red leather with three slip pockets (one of which is, of course, for lipstick) which add an extra touch of luxury. The 13b red of the bags produced in this 17th series ('12 - '13) is iconic and highly sought after by collectors and Chanel fans, as this unique color has long been considered 'the best' red Chanel has produced in recent memory.
