With a heavy heart, I am parting with this beautiful Chloé pochette from the SS2015 collection – it has never seen the light of day. Original tags are still attached, the protective film is still on the gold buckles, and the original Chloé authenticity card is of course included. What fascinates me about it: this creamy lambskin combined with the black snakeskin panel in the middle – real Ayers snakeskin! – and these clean gold applications. You hardly find such a combination today. Clare Waight Keller simply knew what she was doing. It has been lovingly stored all these years. The cream-colored lambskin shows very minimal pressure marks from storage under direct light – anyone who knows lambskin knows that this is part of it and usually resolves itself with a little warmth. Made in Italy, 85% lambskin, 15% real snakeskin, inside also lambskin. A piece that is simply timeless.
