The Fendi Mamma arrived on the back of the original Baguette's huge popularity, offering a bigger, more practical version of the same idea, once again from the mind of Silvia Venturini Fendi. It carried over the brand's signature FF Zucca branding — a design Karl Lagerfeld famously created in a matter of seconds — while adopting a roomier, hobo-style shape that helped define the It-bag era. This example, made in a delicate khaki and pink jacquard fabric, reflects a wider move at the time toward gentler, more experimental colourways, stepping away from Fendi's traditional brown palette in favour of the soft "poudre" tones popular in the early 2000s. The Mamma has held onto its status as a key Y2K piece, prized for combining the brand's archival design language with a genuinely wearable, everyday shape. Condition: Very Good, showing only gentle signs of prior use. The Zucca canvas is in good overall condition, with very light use and no visible marking.
