A little history about this iconic very special bag … this is not just any FENDI bag it’s a VINTAGE SELLERIA bag ! This iconic brand Fendi started off being taught in Rome in 1900’s by the grand maestro . The only one able to do this incredible unique stitching to pass on the technique on to Fendi. By 1925 Fendi was born and in that year the Selleria handbag was launched . To this day Fendi’s top craftsmanship continues to stand to their their highest standards nothing has changed or will. Many years from now this bag will continue to go up and hold its value as it becomes more rare and difficult to get . It will continue to be top of the line due to its classical beauty that never goes out of style . It truly represents that elegance is simplicity. Doing the Selleria stitching all by hand using Cuoio Romano leather is what makes these particular handbags stand out. I was lucky enough to find one and purchase it in New York City years ago and I have enjoyed wearing it as it completes any outfit giving it that perfect touch . I’ve gotten countless compliments over the years on its classical beauty and it’s distinguished craftsmanship. It’s made from one of the finest leathers in the world in a gorgeous black colour . Every Selleria bag contains a sterling sliver plaque on its interior dated 1925. The year Fendi began and the year this bag was launched … with its very own unique serial number for identification . The serial number for this bag is N 49-365-573 . Please note that this pre loved bag is in very good exterior condition beautifully preserved and has been well looked after. The only damage is in the interior of the bag . It has an uneven colour fading and darkening . Along the side walls near the zipper track , bottom corners . This is perfectly normal and consistent with hand oils , dust accumulation, friction wear due to usage. Possible moisture exposure over time. There are a couple of blue ink marks transfer spots on the right - centre floor area . There also is a circular water mark the center bottom. Their could be other small marks I’ve missed but as far as I know I’ve done my best to demonstrate to you the full condition of the bags interior along with photographs.
