VINTAGE GIVENCHY LIZARD & LEATHER SHOULDER FLAP BAG A beautiful archival Givenchy vintage shoulder bag, believed to date to the 1980s, featuring an elegant mixed-media construction of smooth taupe/beige leather accented by a genuine lizard-skin flap. The bag is finished with distinctive ribbed gold-tone Givenchy logo hardware at the front, an adjustable leather shoulder strap, protective metal feet and a structured accordion-style interior with multiple organizational compartments. CONDITION Very good vintage pre-owned condition, particularly considering the age of the piece. The smooth leather exterior retains very good structure and presents attractively overall. The genuine lizard flap remains intact with the scale pattern well preserved. There is normal vintage surface variation/wear consistent with age and use. The leather piping and lower corners/edges exhibit visible rubbing, surface wear and areas of finish loss, most notably around the curved lower side edges and piping. The adjustable shoulder strap shows expected creasing and surface wear. The bottom remains structurally sound and retains all four protective metal feet, with normal scratches/wear to the leather and hardware. Gold-tone hardware exhibits normal age-related surface wear and patina. The interior remains impressively clean and functional for its age, with normal surface impressions, light marks and signs of prior use.
