GUCCI Vintage Bamboo Handle Canvas Tote. This vintage Gucci tote is finely crafted of ivory cotton canvas trimmed with white leather along the base, top and side gussets, and finished with the maison's signature twin natural bamboo top handles. Founded in Florence in 1921, Gucci first introduced bamboo as a luxury hardware element in the 1947 Bamboo bag - born of post-war material restrictions and turned into one of the most enduring codes of Italian craftsmanship - and revived it across totes and handbags through the late 1990s and early 2000s under the Tom Ford era. The bag opens via a silver-tone top zip with a round Gucci medallion zipper pull to a tonal cream Diamante jacquard fabric interior fitted with an interior zip pocket, and is heat-stamped "GUCCI - Made in Italy" on the interior leather tab with serial number 0003754-0508. Comes with the original Gucci dust bag. The silver-tone hardware retains a bright finish with minor surface marks, and the cream Diamante jacquard interior is clean with very faint handling marks and a fully functional zip.
