This bag is an original vintage Gucci 'Sella' model from the 1970s, featuring an elegant combination of materials and a structured design with equestrian inspiration. The body of the bag combines a front flap in soft brown suede with sides and closure details in smooth dark brown leather. A standout feature is the central leather sliding closure, topped by two golden metal inserts that recall the details of horse bits, typical of the Gucci DNA of the era. Another element of the highest craftsmanship is the hand-woven stitching along the upper profile of the bag, which joins the flap to the supporting structure. This bag is a very rare example where the Rosewood does not serve as a handle, but acts as a rigid upper structural frame on which the leather is anchored through refined interwoven stitching. The suede maintains a color and does not have the classic dark spots or shiny areas from heavy wear. The smooth leather shows only very slight and normal superficial signs of age that do not affect its structure.
