Vintage Gucci bag in dark brown brushed calfskin with a wooden closure and handle. This handbag, defined by its structured and geometric silhouette, represents one of the first examples of protected industrial design, as evidenced by the internal gold engraving "MOD. BREV. N. 72-649", and belongs to the very first generation of iconic designs that redefined luxury in the post-war era. Dimensions: 27.5 x 22 x 11 cm Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Shows slight signs of age on the leather and metal, some stains on the inner lining, superficial micro-scratches, signs of wear on the edges and corners. It has a light storage odor, typical of bags from the '50s-'60s. Brand: The bag features the Gucci brand mark embossed in gold inside and the wording "MOD. BREV. N. 72-649" - the registered patent number. This specific type of branding was used by the Maison in the 1950s.
