A leather and canvas chain bag that was made in Italy by Gucci in very good condition. This beautiful and rare Gucci bag dates the 1970s and features a beautiful floral decoration by Vittorio Accornero. Gold plated hardware includes the interlocking GG clasp and the chain strap. The main body is canvas but includes calf-skin leather in off-white throughout. The chain drop measures 47 cm, so you can wear over the shoulder, alternatively you can tuck the chain away and use it as a clutch. Inside, there’s a leather lined interior with two small side pockets. The condition is very good. There is light staining and fading to the canvas, there are some touch-ups to the leather piping, interior stains and some gold-plating is missing from the clasp. The bag was produced before serial numbers came into use. Overall, she’s a stunning archival piece that can be used without problem. All items guaranteed authentic Gucci.
