A leather and satin Jackie shoulder bag in very good condition that was made in Italy by Gucci. This rare example of the iconic Jackie series was made during Tom Ford’s tenure as Gucci Creative Director (1994-2004), and represents Ford’s redesign of the classic Jackie 1961. The main body is constructed from taupe-grey satin, a trademark material of Ford’s designs of that era, while Gucci’s high-quality calf-skin leather in olive brown is evident throughout. Silver metal hardware includes a decorative strap buckle and branded piston closure. Unlike standard fabric-lined versions, this Jackie features a leather lining for that added luxury touch. There’s also an inner pocket with branded zipper pull. The handle drop is 19 cm so she can be worn over the shoulder. The condition is very good. There’s light staining on the satin in places, light scratching on the hardware and other signs of this being a preloved product. Overall, however, an absolutely stunning and rare example of a Tom Ford Jackie that can be used without problem. All items guaranteed authentic Gucci.
