The Birkin Shoulder 29 Light reworks Jean Paul Gaultier's 2004 Shoulder Birkin, which measured 42 cm, into a compact east-west bag made to tuck under the arm rather than hang from the hand. Much of the leather gives way to embroidered toile, which takes a good deal of the weight out.
