Vintage Hermès handbag from 1957 (code M on the inner pouch). It has reached us in good condition for its age! Chaîne d'Ancre model in black leather with gold-plated hardware. The closure works perfectly. Flaws (all visible in the photos): slight stains on the front, scratches on the back, a small piece of leather is missing inside, the hardware is pitted, the gusset is slightly unstitched in one place. Handbag inspired by the iconic Chaîne d'Ancre jewelry. From its release in 1938, this cult jewel was an immediate success. The marine world then took a place alongside the equestrian world that had inspired the House since its creation.
