Bleu de Prusse is a deep, somber blue with a touch of green, lighter than Bleu Nuit and named for the Prussian blue pigment of the eighteenth century. On Box calf it reads almost black in low light and shows its blue in daylight. The palladium hardware is guilloche: a fine diamond pattern engraved across the turn-lock plate and the strap plates, a technique taken from watchmaking and jewelry.
