When Hermès' own Jean-Louis Dumas sat down next to Jane Birkin on a flight, he had no idea he was about to create history. When Jane Birkin discussed her need for a sizeable (yet chic) weekender, Dumas immediately got to work designing the perfect bag for her needs. This classic, authentic Birkin 25 is crafted from Ciel Togo leather and accented with Palladium-plated hardware. Togo leather is a thick, durable calfskin with a medium grain, known for its resilience to scratches and its ability to be repaired. Includes lock, two keys, and a clochette.
