Doré is a warm metallic gold, and on Chèvre Chamkila the goatskin's fine grain catches and scatters the light at many angles, giving the gold more dimension than it would have on smooth calfskin. Permabrass hardware, a warm plated finish deeper and more yellow than palladium, keeps the H clasp in the same golden register, and the strap adjusts for shoulder or crossbody wear. Collector's Insight: Hermès dates the Constance to 1967; its designer named it after her newborn daughter....
