Noir Tadelakt provides the vertical stripe panels, a smooth calfskin with a subtle sheen that creates a textural contrast against the Epsom's matte grain. Vert Peppermint Chèvre Mysore is cut into five-pointed stars inlaid across both materials. Chèvre's tight, fine grain holds the star shapes with clean edges at miniature scale. The Étoilée (starred) pattern is a leather marquetry technique that requires precise cutting and assembly across three different hides with different thicknesses and grain behaviors.
