Hermès Kelly Longue Rose Dragée Evergrain Palladium Hardware Kelly Longue in Rose Dragée Evergrain with Palladium hardware. The Kelly Longue is a discontinued clutch format that preceded the Kelly Cut. It carries the Kelly's flap-and-tournante closure in an elongated rectangular proportion, but with more depth and structure than the flatter Cut that replaced it. Production ended around 2010. No handle, no strap. This is a handheld evening piece. Evergrain is a pressed calfskin with a fine crosshatch grain, similar to Epsom but with a slightly softer hand. Rose Dragée is a pale baby pink with subtle grey undertones, lighter and cooler than Rose Sakura. On Evergrain the color reads as soft and powdery without the flat uniformity that Epsom can produce. Palladium hardware provides cool-toned contrast that suits the grey undertones in the pink. It was replaced in the evening tier by the Kelly Cut, which has a flatter, wider proportion. Lower production volume combined with discontinuation means fewer survive on the secondary market than Kelly Cuts from the same era. Rose Dragée is itself a discontinued pink from the mid-2000s that predates the modern pink rotation (Rose Sakura, Rose Confetti, Mauve Sylvestre). Evergrain has also been used sparingly in recent years. All three variables are closed. Resale Insight: Discontinued Hermès formats appeal to completists and collectors seeking uncommon pieces. The Kelly Longue is less widely recognized than the Kelly Cut, which narrows the buyer pool but also means less competition among sellers. Rose Dragée carries specific nostalgia value among collectors who track Hermès's pink history. Excellent condition on an 18-year-old Evergrain clutch indicates careful storage. 👜 JaneFinds Condition Guide📅 Hermès Date Stamp Reference⛓️ Accessory Chains📐 Hermès Size Guide📦 Sell With JaneFinds
