There is no plastic on the hardware. There are moderate scratches throughout to the exposed hardware. The bottom feet have some gold plating loss due to excessive scratches. The lock hardware also has moderate scratches. The exterior leather is clean overall and the leather around the bottom corners are smoother in texture.
