There is no plastic on the hardware. There are light scratches to the exposed hardware. The exterior leather has signs of wear to the evercolor leather with a tiny peel to the leather on the front top handle, minor rubbing to corners, and faint scuff marks to the back leather and on the front flap. The felt/wool fabric is clean. The interior light signs of wear to the felt/wool fabric.
