Louis Vuitton Vintage Bosphore Trolley 50 Monogram Suitcase – 2008 A beautifully retro Louis Vuitton Bosphore Trolley 50, dating from 2008 — a wonderfully chic piece of vintage LV luggage with all the romance of a bygone era of travel. Purchased by me directly from the Louis Vuitton boutique in Geneva in 2008, so I have owned it from new. Made in France in iconic Monogram coated canvas with natural leather trim, brass/gold-tone hardware, two wheels and a retractable telescopic handle. Date code MB0018, consistent with 2008 production. (I also have the matching Louis Vuitton Monogram travel bag available separately. It is unused and has a rear trolley sleeve designed to slide securely over this case’s telescopic handle, as shown in the combination photographs. The matching bag is not included in this listing). The Bosphore is a compact wheeled travel case with distinctive exterior zipped compartments and a spacious lined interior. Its proportions give it a particularly elegant, retro feel compared with more contemporary LV luggage. Condition: Good vintage condition. The Monogram canvas presents very well for its age. Please note: • Wheels show signs of travel wear • Brass/gold-tone hardware has natural tarnishing and patina • One small mark to the front, photographed • Slight wear to one area of the interior lining • Localised degradation to the lining around the internal zip/date-code area — internal only and not visible externally • Zips are all in working order but slightly stiff and would benefit from a little suitable zip wax • Natural age-related patina to the leather and hardware Please check all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
