I'm selling this classic, authentic Louis Vuitton Cartouchiere MM crossbody/shoulder bag in the iconic brown monogram canvas. This is the highly functional MM (Medium) size featuring a double interior compartment layout. A gorgeous vintage statement piece. This piece has been well-loved and has plenty of vintage character. It comes with its original vintage Louis Vuitton dustbag. Date code : 8903 SL (manufactured in March 1989) Condition Details: • Interior: In excellent vintage condition. Unlike most vintage LV bags from this era, the interior leather is completely clean with absolutely no peeling, flaking, or stickiness in any of the compartments. The "Louis Vuitton Paris made in france" heat stamp is crisp and clear. • Monogram Canvas: Excellent, vibrant condition. No major cracks, rips, or tears along the canvas body or flap edges. • Vachetta Leather & Strap: Has developed a rich honey patina. The adjustable leather shoulder strap and front closure buckle strap show surface dryness and cracking near the adjustment holes and buckle areas (common for a bag of this era) but it remains fully functional. • Base & Trim: The leather base and bottom trim show typical vintage scuffs, watermarks, and darkening from normal use. • Hardware: Buckle and rivets show minor tarnishing consistent with age but work perfectly.
