The large half-moon shape fits perfectly to the body. Vachetta leather & shoulder strap: The wide shoulder strap and the vertical leather strips show a warm, even honey patina and slight darkening. A fine superficial crack is visible on the surface of the shoulder strap in the Vachetta leather (see detail photo). The strap remains strong and secure for carrying. Corners, edges & piping: The base and the all-around Vachetta piping are well preserved with normal, light vintage signs of wear. Interior: The interior lining in velvety raspberry red Alcantara is dry and shows normal signs of wear as well as light, discreet shadows. Hardware & code: The date code in the area of the inner zipper is engraved on the red leather tab (CA1022). The zipper slider and gold-tone buckle shine beautifully and work perfectly.
