The Monogram pattern is strong, intense in color and completely free of cracks, breaks or holes. Vachetta Leather & Handles: The Toron handles, vertical leather strips, address tag and side leather tabs have developed a uniform golden-brown honey patina. The leather is stable, supple and fully load-bearing with normal, vintage-typical signs of wear and subtle edge wear. Edges & Piping: The surrounding leather piping on both sides is intact over its entire length with minimal, age-appropriate edge wear. Interior & Tag: The brown textile inner lining is dry, clean and odorless with only fine, normal signs of wear and light dust shadows; the inner leather tab with the well-stamped date code VI 862 shows typical vintage oxidation (verdigris on brass) at the rivet head but is absolutely firm and secure. Hardware & Zipper: The brass fittings shine nicely with a fine vintage patina; the 2-way double zipper runs smoothly and closes reliably over the entire length.
