Vachetta leather and handles: The Toron handles, vertical leather bands, address tag, and Poignet are in good, stable condition, with a beautiful warm honey patina and normal age-related signs of wear/creasing. Edges and bottom: The leather piping on the edges and the canvas bottom are clean and well-preserved, with only fine, normal vintage edge wear. Interior and date code: The brown textile inner lining is dry and very clean, with only minimal and discreet vintage shadowing (see detail photo); the leather tab with the 80s date code is originally preserved (the rivet insert shows typical vintage verdigris from the material).
