She's from 1999, she's seen some things, and she has the patina to prove it. Vintage Louis Vuitton Montsouris GM backpack (model code M51135) — the largest of the three vintage Montsouris sizes — in classic Monogram canvas with honeyed vachetta trim. Date code MI1929, made in France in December 1999. She has been mine for nearly 20 years; time for her next adventure. Measurements (taped by hand, bag flattened): base about 12 in wide, length about 14.25 in. For reference, Louis Vuitton's published dimensions for the M51135 are about 11.8 x 14.6 x 5.1 in.
