LOUIS VUITTON PAPILLON 26 BAG This is a restored vintage Louis Vuitton Papillon 26 bag. It was made in February of 1982, making the bag 44 years old. It has been throughly cleaned and has no vintahe smell. The leather trim has been dyed black and sealed by a professional leather artist. The original zipper has been replaced using a high quality YKK zipper that works just as it should (see photos). It is quite beautiful, especially considering its vintage age. There are a couple of dull spots in the coated canvas, but nothing horrible (see photos). There is also tarnishing on the metal hardware that is consistent with its age (see photos).
