Monogrammed Canvas and Body: The monogrammed canvas is stable, firm, and in very good condition. The monogrammed design is crisp, vibrant, and free of tears or holes. Zipper Pull (Important Condition Note): The vachetta leather zipper pull shows significant wear, fraying, and a visible tear at the rivet (see detailed photo). Vachetta Leather and Handles: The Toron carrying handles, their attachments, and the leather side tabs display a deep and expressive vintage patina (honey/cognac tones), with visible darkening, signs of wear, and slight abrasion on the edges. The handles are sturdy and fully functional. Edges and Piping: The leather piping on both sides is intact and shows normal abrasion, typical of vintage items. Interior and Date Code: The brown textile lining is dry, clean, and odorless, with only slight age-related wear. The interior leather tab, bearing the embossed date code VI 0934, shows typical vintage oxidation (verdigris on the brass) at the rivet head but remains securely attached. Zipper and Hardware: The brass hardware shines beautifully, with a fine vintage patina and some normal micro-scratches. The top zipper slides smoothly and closes reliably along its entire length.
