Louis Vuitton x Stephen Sprouse Graffiti Speedy 30 | 2001 A landmark Louis Vuitton collaboration and one of the defining collector pieces of the early Marc Jacobs era. In 2001, Marc Jacobs collaborated with artist Stephen Sprouse, overlaying his distinctive graffiti lettering onto Louis Vuitton’s Monogram canvas and creating an intentionally rebellious contrast between the house’s traditional codes and Sprouse’s punk-inspired aesthetic. This Speedy 30 in white graffiti dates to May 2001, placing it within the original release rather than the later 2009 reissue. The original-run pieces remain particularly sought after for their place in Louis Vuitton’s collaboration history. Condition: Good Good overall condition considering its age. The Monogram canvas and graffiti lettering remain well preserved, with no major wear, tears or visible staining. The base is also in good condition. The vachetta leather shows natural age-related patina and wear, including some minor cracking to sections of the side piping. The handles have darkened with age and show signs of use, while the side tabs display corresponding wear and patina. The zipper is fully functional and the hardware shows mild age-related wear, including minor scratches to the original LV padlock. The leather zipper pull may be a later Louis Vuitton service replacement, as its appearance is consistent with vachetta used by the house after 2004. The interior is very well preserved, showing only minimal signs of use.
